You must follow our terms and conditions whenever you use, browse, register or place an order with Banburysewingcentre.co.uk. It is your responsibility to know what our latest terms and conditions are.

Please also read our Privacy Policy and information on Delivery and Returns as they are a part of these terms.

Use of our website

You must :

  • Only use our website for lawful reasons.
  • Have our approval if you want to buy our products for a business.

You must not use our website in a way that is against the rights of anyone else, or that stops or limits how it is enjoyed by others.

We are not to blame for any loss or damage to you for anything that you use on our website.

We own or license all of the rights on our website, which includes copyright.

You can only use, download and print our content for your own personal use or in-house business reasons. We must agree in writing before you can use our content for anything else. If you do not have our written agreement, you cannot :

  • Copy, reproduce, use or deal with any of our website content.
  • Modify or share any of our website content for any reason.
  • Reproduce, crawl or frame our website from anywhere else.

Journalists please contact our eCommerce Trading Manager if you would like use our photography or any other content on our website.

Products

Product Descriptions

We always try to give you the most up-to-date product information but sometimes we do get it wrong. This can include :

  • Not having the right details for the product.
  • Different product packaging than shown.
  • Changes in the product colour.*
  • Showing the wrong amount of stock.**

*This can be caused by differences on your computer screen or device as the actual colour of the product may be different from our website. Some product pages have colour swatches. Please use them as a guide only as they do not show the exact colour of the products.

**The amount of stock that we show on the website is a guide. We will confirm the amount of stock that we have when we confirm your order.

We may not process your order if we notice that the product information on our website is wrong when you place it.

Product Pricing

Where possible we try and have the same prices online as in store however some prices do differ between online and in store. Stock may also differ between our website and stores which may continue to hold discontinued stock and our website does stock special online-only products that won’t be stocked in stores.

Product Purchasing

There is no contract between you and Banbury Sewing Centre when you place an order on our website. We will manage your order only when you have received a confirmation email from us.

Order Data

When you place an order with us, you can go to ‘My Account’ at any time to browse your order history. We have a privacy promise to keep all of your data safe and secure, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Order Confirmation

We will send you a receipt of your order in an email. Please read and check the details carefully to make sure that they are correct.

If the details are not right, or if you need any help, please contact us on 01295 262344 from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 2pm. Or email us at info@banburysewingcentre.co.uk. We will need to know any changes to your details before we send your order or it may be delayed.

Delivery

We are not responsible for any delay in delivery if you are not there to collect your order when it arrives.

Returns & Refunds

Free Returns to Store:
  • Return your order up to 28 days from the purchase date
  • Return products in unused condition and in the original packaging where possible
  • Your refund will be processed and credit will be applied to the original payment method within 14 working days

Please bring the product(s) you wish to return to our store with the delivery note and the payment card used to purchase the product, which will enable us to process your refund.

The refund will be processed to your original payment card only, so please ensure you have this with you.

Returns by Post:

  • Customers are liable for postage fees related to returns by post
  • Your item must be received to us by the 28th day after your original purchase
  • Banbury Sewing Centre Limited are not liable for any items which go missing while in transit. It is the customers responsibility to track items being returned.
  • Return products in unused condition and in the original packaging where possible
  • Your refund will be processed and credit will be applied to the original payment method within 14 working days of receipt

Return Restrictions:

We are unable to accept returns for sewing and knitting patterns. All items returned must be in their original state and packaging. Fabrics must be in the original length cut in store
 
Refunds:
  • Refunds will be given to items bought online only. Items purchased in store can only be exchanged or returned for a store credit.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of us receiving your return.
  • Your refund will be credited to your original payment method.
